Ukrainian Education During the War: Resilience, Resistance and Reconstruction

Presentation Description: The presentation will focus on the current state of the Ukrainian education affected by the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian conflict and war. The presenters will provide the updated information on how the Ukrainian education is functioning during the war impacted by losses and challenges in the educational system and infrastructure. Temporarily occupied territories and temporarily relocated institutions, educational credential verification options, challenges and tools for credentials evaluators, as well as governmental initiatives on the reconstruction of the Ukrainian education after the war will be discussed.
Learning Objectives:
During my presentation, attendees will receive the up-to-date overview of the state of Ukrainian education during the war.
During my presentation, attendees will be introduced to the concept of educational credential verification of Ukrainian credentials via EDEBO and Diia verification services.
After my presentation, attendees will be able to apply the presentation information on Ukrainian education during the war in the process of university admission of refugee students from Ukraine.
