Verifying Student Course Enrollment Abroad has become a hot topic and a worrisome issue with students this past year dropping below full-time and/or failing out abroad, especially as it pertains to financial aid, scholarships, and academic probation. We will discuss case studies, possible solutions, pre-departure strategies, and present survey results related to relevant processes from SUNY's Consortium on International Education campuses.

  • Explore different solutions to issues regarding course enrollment at host institution.
  • Analyze outcomes of SUNY Geneseo's pilot enrollment verification process for outbound students.
