International Alumni and Advancement MIG Open Meeting

The NAFSA International Alumni and Advancement MIG will host an open meeting to share resources on intl. alumni and advancement to Region X intl. educators. This will be an open dialogue session with topics including best practices and how to get started engaging intl. alumni, challenges, and barriers to intl. advancement, and other related topics. This session will be facilitated by two MIG members and is open to any conference attendee interested in international alumni and global fundraising.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify Best Practices: Participants will learn and identify best practices for engaging international alumni and advancing global fundraising efforts within their institutions.
  • Understand Challenges and Barriers: Attendees will gain insights into common challenges and barriers to international alumni engagement and advancement, and discuss strategies to overcome them.
  • Develop Actionable Strategies: Participants will develop actionable strategies to initiate or enhance international alumni engagement and global fundraising efforts, tailored to the specific needs of their institutions.
