Supporting International Students and Scholars in Small Office Settings

Although the caseloads may be smaller, the smaller offices still receive the same types of cases, issues, and problems as the bigger offices do. The small offices face unique challenges as we do not have resources like other schools do. In this session, we will;
• Develop a network of smaller offices,
• Discuss challenges,
• Share resources, and
• Brainstorm solutions for real-life scenarios.

Learning Objectives:

  • Upon completion, participants will be able to develop a network of smaller offices,
  • Upon completion, participants will be able to find resources unavailable at their home institutions.
  • Upon completion, participants will be able to handle situations/issues with more resources.
